Ultra Marathon Gear Guide
The Ultra Marathon Gear Guide is focused on providing impartial, field tested and curated recommendations for ultramarathon runners. The reviews you’ll find here are all for products I’ve personally used in race conditions. You won’t find reviews for anything you wouldn’t find in my wardrobe.
I only recommend products I honestly believe in. To support this website I participate in the Amazon Affiliate program. This means that when you purchase a product you found via Ultra Marathon Gear Guide on Amazon a very small percentage of the purchase price is passed to us. This does not affect the price you pay and helps maintain the independence of the reviews you read here.
The legal bit:
“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”
Over the past decade I have been on a journey that has seen the races I take part in get longer and longer. Starting with Couch to 5k, building up through 10k, half marathons and then the marathon distance; including London, Paris, Bournemouth and Brighton. After I realised I’d never win a marathon I decided to go longer! Ultramarathons are now my thing, most recently the DownsLink Ultra, Race to the Stones 100k and the North Downs Way 100 Mile.
